I love the atmosphere at LF, and just simply that you care.
I've never felt like a number, but part of an extended family.
Like the others said,
I can't believe that I, a lifelong DANCE PHOBIC, have been dancing for a whole year!
I'm sure I'm not the first, and I won't be the last, but I thought I'd voice my appreciation.
It means a lot to me (even if I still suck hahaha The point is I'm enjoying myself, right?)
I have Donna, Warren, Michael, Shannon, Richard and Nicola, who have taught me, all the advanced students, who have kindly given me feedback, and the whole Latin Fire community to thank for it.
At any point, I was just as likely to run than I was to stay, and I might very well not have stuck with it had it been any other place.
Cheers for laughing with me, not at me (shuddup, Michael Hobbs!) , and thank you for making me feel so welcome!
What can I say about the fantastic family that is Latin Fire?
The last 4 years have been an incredible journey for me - when I first started learning salsa, I was quite under confident, and my self esteem had just taken a massive hit.
Donna and Warren and the rest of the crew were welcoming, fun, and slightly nuts, but I knew I needed to reconnect with dance.
