Richard started dancing in 2008 after realising the 'dreaded' first wedding dance was fast approaching.
A self professed owner of '2 left feet' left Richard quickly mastered Merengue.
He continued on with Salsa classes with his wife Shannon & realised his background in military drill teams helped with his timing & technique.
Richard is known on the social dance floor for his shenanigans and dancing with two ladies at a time.
Richard joined our instructors team in 2012 and is known for his precise & concise ability to help beginners with breaking down moves.
We love having Richard in our instructors team and he is an important part of Latin Fire Dance Academy, Christchurch.
Thanks, Latin Fire, for making my year so much more exciting, especially to my ammmazzzing teachers David and Lisa, and Donna and Warren!! (and to Kendall and Jeff for having me in their classes occasionally and being so encouraging! :) )
It has been really fun meeting so many awesome people, and, of course, learning to dance! I wish you all a great New Year, and hope it brings you more than you ever wished for.
Look forward to seeing you again next year! ♥
It has been a long hard road, full of blood, sweat, bruises, and tears!
I wouldn't have made it out onto the stage without some amazing support.
My team mates from Latin Fire, especially Kathy Reese, Brenna Ogier, Mellinda Fitzgerald, Holly Hobbie, Nicola McCall, & Maeve Gresham.
Thanks to my flatmate Michael Hobbs for helping with my music and calling me moose!
Thanks to Donna Frost for your support and guidance.
Warren Frost thank you for kicking my arse when I wanted to throw in the towel.
And finally to my family, especially my husband for picking me up whenever I was down.
I love you all.
